RunDebrief

RunDebrief privacy policy

Last updated: September 27, 2026

RunDebrief, formerly HeartRateHub, is provided by Enzer Erkin. It helps you plan timed workouts and review recorded runs against your chosen heart-rate targets. This policy explains app data, optional sharing and this support website.

The app does not send us your Health records. Run reviews are calculated on your device. The app has no advertising SDK, third-party analytics SDK or developer-operated server receiving your Health records.

1. Apple Health and your choices

RunDebrief reads the Apple Health data you authorize, including workouts, heart rate and supported workout metrics, to display your training and calculate reviews on your device. We do not sell your Health data or use it for advertising.

With your permission, workouts recorded in the Apple Watch app are saved to Apple Health. Applying targets or a timed plan in RunDebrief does not modify the original Health workout.

Health access is optional. You can create workout plans and use templates without it. You can grant or revoke access in Apple's Health and Settings controls. Reviews depend on the records and readings that are available; missing or denied data may result in incomplete or empty views.

2. Plans, settings and device sync

Workout plans, profile values you enter and review settings are stored by the app. Workout plans can sync through your private iCloud account. Plans and profile settings are sent to your paired Apple Watch so it can guide your workout. Recorded Health samples are not included in this plan sync. Review targets and applied-plan snapshots remain in local app storage.

Apple operates Health, iCloud, device backups and the App Store according to your Apple settings and Apple's privacy policy. We do not operate these services. RunDebrief does not require a separate developer account.

3. Reports you choose to share

You can export an interval report as a CSV file. The app presents Apple's share sheet so you choose whether to save or share it and where it goes. Reports can contain sensitive workout information. The recipient or destination service handles the report under its own policies.

4. Purchases, diagnostics and support

Apple processes App Store payments. We do not receive your payment-card details. Apple may make App Store sales information and diagnostic reports available through its developer services, subject to Apple's policies and your sharing settings. These are separate from the app's on-device access to your Health records.

If you email support, we receive your email address and the content you choose to send through our email provider, Microsoft Outlook. We use that information to answer your request and resolve the issue. You control any Health records you include in an email; these become part of that support correspondence. Please avoid sending them unless they are necessary for your request. Support correspondence is kept as needed to handle the request and any applicable legal obligations; you can contact us to request access, correction or deletion.

5. Retention and deletion

Plans and settings remain in app storage until removed or the app's data is deleted. You can delete plans from your library; plan deletions sync when devices reconnect. Deleting a plan does not delete completed workouts in Apple Health. Use Apple's Health app to manage or delete Health records.

Deleting the app removes local app storage. Health records, iCloud copies and device backups can remain in Apple services according to your settings. Exported reports must be deleted from the locations where you saved or shared them. We cannot delete Health records on your behalf because we do not hold them on a developer server.

6. This website and external links

This website is hosted on GitHub Pages. GitHub may process technical information such as your IP address and request details to serve and protect the site. See GitHub's privacy statement. Other website resources and links, including app-store, social-network and email links, may involve their respective providers. Their privacy policies apply when you use those services. The privacy and terms pages do not embed analytics scripts or third-party fonts.

7. Contact and changes

For privacy questions or requests about information you have sent to support, contact Enzer Erkin at anzerarkin@outlook.com. You may also raise privacy concerns with your local data protection authority where applicable.

We will update this page and its date when our practices change. Material changes will also be communicated through the app or another appropriate channel.
